The Riding Club of Barrington Hills is an all-volunteer riding organization formed by 1937.
The Club is dedicated to preserving, expanding, and riding the bridle paths in Barrington Hills, Illinois.
The bridle paths include both public trails on county-owned property and private trails in Barrington Hills. Over 160 miles of these paths are maintained by the Riding Club of Barrington Hills. Everyone with a Forest Preserve of Cook County tag for their horse and license for the rider can take advantage of the trails maintained by the Club in the Cook County Forest Preserves. Trails located outside the Forest Preserve are for the exclusive use of Riding Club of Barrington Hills members and guests by stipulation of the land owners where these trails are located.
In addition, the Riding Club of Barrington Hills is dedicated to preserving the equestrian traditions of Barrington Hills.
Maintenance of the bridle paths creates the main expense for the Riding Club of Barrington Hills.
Donations are primarily used to maintain and improve the bridle paths in Barrington Hills.
These donations are not tax-deductible, but they are greatly appreciated and contribute greatly to preserving equestrian traditions in Barrington Hills.
Your donation helps RCBH to create and maintain the 160+ miles of riding trails throughout Barrington Hills countryside and other RCBH activities.
